UNR's Attorney Kent Robison Lacking Ethical Standards?
Attorney Kent Robison is an outside attorney hired by UNR President Milton Glick to represent himself and the university. Apparently Glick has no faith in his legal team of 7+ in-house lawyers led by UNR General Counsel Mary Dugan.
President Glick is leading a university that is now under criminal investigation. Therefore, it should be less than surprising that he has hired a less than ethical lawyer to represent him and the university.
Read here what the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco had to say about Kent Robison:
The Nevada Supreme Court found that "counsel withdrew not because the county denied him compensation, but merely because the county declined to compensate him in advance." In seeking to withdraw from representing a client charged with murder after the trial has started because the county would not advance his expenses, attorney Robison has demonstrated ethical standards that fall far short of responsible professional conduct.
This, of course, is the same Kent Robison who lied to Judge Flanagan, lied to Judge Steinheimer, and then lied to the Nevada Supreme Court regarding matters pertaining to my case. Robison was so exposed in all of these lies that he conceded every one of them to the Nevada Supreme Court. Robison has a pattern and practice of lying throughout my litigation . . . to the media, to judges, to whomever will listen to his slander.
I am going to go out on a limb and bet that Robison was in Indianapolis with Glick, Dugan, and Athletic Director Cary Groth yesterday defending allegations of major violations of NCAA rules in the Nevada Athletic Department. Yep, they were ordered to be there in person by the NCAA.
Dugan needs help doing damage control so I am pretty confident she brought along her partner in crime. The only question is...how many more lies were told by this crew to the NCAA Committee on Infractions? Damage control, led by Dugan and Robison, consists of more fraud to cover the exposed fraud.
