As revealed four posts below under Corrupt Hiring Practices In Nevada Athletics, Athletic Director Cary Groth's domestic partner, Laura Scott, was hired last month in the Nevada Athletic Department.

We then reviewed a stack of documents that contained Groth's host expense forms over the past few years.

These forms are detailed receipts of who and what the athletic director spends university money on.

Well wouldn't you know whose name repeatedly appeared as a "guest" of Groth's on these forms prior to her February hire . . . Groth's roommate Laura Scott.

So Groth's roommate is repeatedly entertained on the university's dime and subsequently given a job in the athletic department over more qualified candidates.

Policies, (NCAA) rules, laws . . . who needs 'em . . .
