News Flash: A.D. Cary Groth Lied Again!
Oh wait, that is not news . . . that is par for the course.
Reno-Gazette Journal reporter Dan Hinxman wrote a blog today on talk regarding a contract extension for Nevada Head Football Coach Chris Ault.
Athletic Director Cary Groth wrote in an e-mail to Hinxman that "she doesn’t discuss any coach’s contract until the season is over".
Liar!
Groth offered Patraw a multi-year contract extension and raise during the 2007 soccer season. We have the contract offer in our possession with the date on it.
General Counsel Mary Dugan also wrote a letter confirming that Patraw was "offered a contract at 9:00 am on August 22, 2007, in a meeting with A.D. Groth".
It is a wonder that UNR President Milton Glick allows Groth to talk to the media. Groth lies so often that she cannot keep her "stories" straight.
