In addition to the discovery of the corrupt employment practices regarding Tekla Martin (detailed below), a colleague also ran across the organizational chart for Nevada Athletics. 

The chart revealed that two coaches report directly to A.D. Cary Groth. 

While that number is not surprising, the names/sports of the coaches were ... Groth has the men's and women's golf coaches reporting to her!

Most AD's have football and basketball coaches report to them in order to directly monitor the revenue generating sports.

What is stunning about the fact that the golf coaches report to Groth is that Groth is responsible for the problems in the golf programs.

Groth tried to cover up major violations of NCAA rules by former golf coach Rich Merritt, telling Merritt she would "write a letter to clear him"; thereby attempting to halt an internal investigation.

If you know anything about college athletics, an Athletic Director has no authority to "write a letter to clear a coach of violations" ... proving Groth's level of incompetence and corruptness yet again.

Groth continued to retain Merritt until the NCAA came into town to conduct their own investigation; an investigation that resulted in severe sanctions against the university, golf programs, and Merritt.

After jeopardizing the welfare of the golf student-athletes and the future of the Nevada golf programs, Groth has chosen to place the golf programs and the new head coaches directly under her very corrupt wings.

Unbelievable...this should cause great pause at the NCAA headquarters...
