Reno Gazette-Journal President/Publisher Ted Power is back in the news!
We are not the only ones who thought that Mr. Power needed to leave town.
According to this blog, Power is moving to Iowa . . . relocating within the Gannett organization.
Power was recently discussed here after his DUI conviction and sentencing.
The less-than-positive feelings toward Mr. Power stem from personal knowledge of the protection he affords UNR officials; shielding the community from their criminal actions.
Nevada A.D. Cary Groth said that Power has assured her that the RGJ "has UNR's back".
We hope that Power's replacement has more integrity and respect for the community they serve.
