A.D. Cary Groth Manipulating The Community
Following up on the change in leadership in the volleyball program that was discussed in the post, "The Birdies Were Chirping" (directly below) . . .
Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth discussed the reassignment of the "former head coach" with the RGJ:
"She'll work with us in compliance where we have great need," Groth said.
Compliance? Did Groth really say compliance? Meaning compliance with NCAA rules? Of course Groth is manipulating the public into thinking she cares about NCAA compliance.
Did Groth tell the "former head coach" that, in her new position, Groth and Dr. Jean Perry will conceal NCAA violations from her, order her to retaliate, and direct her to write up fake NCAA reports?
Oh, and when the NCAA comes calling . . . the "former head coach" should be aware that Groth and Perry have a proven history of lying to the NCAA to cover up their misconduct.
It is not surprising that the Director of Compliance left the university in August after working for Nevada for 16 years. Surely she could no longer stomach working for Groth and Perry's corrupt leadership.
Perry oversees NCAA compliance at UNR. Stunning and disgraceful, isn't it?!
