A.D. Groth Sticks Another Fork In The Volleyball Program

As noted in a few posts below, Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth has announced that she will not fill the head volleyball coaching position for another 10 months due to "budget constraints".

We have made our feelings known on the damage that ridiculous decision will have on the volleyball program and the student-athletes in posts below.

We have also questioned the truthfulness of Groth's stated rationale ("budget constraints").

Well, Groth just threw more fuel on that flame when she announced last week that she is conducting a search for a new head men's tennis coach.

Within days of Groth's announcement that she had to hold off on the volleyball search due to "budget constraints", she has initiated searches for an assistant football coach and a head men's tennis coach.

She also extended the contract and gave a raise to the head football coach last week.

Do you really believe that Groth is telling the truth when she says that "budget constraints" are prohibiting her from filling the volleyball position?

Any question on how Groth feels about the volleyball program?

Can she be any more of a public relations disaster for the university?
